Ameet's political career began in Westminster as a political aide to Lord Dolar Popat, where he tirelessly supported him as a minister and trade envoy for nearly 15 years. Recognized for his exceptional service to politics and public life, Ameet was honored with an MBE, bestowed upon him by Her Late Majesty The Queen.

Ameet's commitment to the Conservative Party spans over two decades, during which he has been a leading activist since the age of 16. He currently serves as a councilor in Harrow, where he also fulfills roles as a magistrate and school governor.
