Bali Brahmbhatt is a Gujarati music director and playback singer who mainly performs Bollywood songs. He was born on November 2, 1970, in Nairobi, Kenya. His parents are both from Gujarat, India, and they moved to Kenya in the early 1960s.

Brahmbhatt began his musical career at a young age, playing guitar and singing in his church choir. He also learned to play the tabla and the sitar. In the early 1990s, he moved to the United States to pursue a career in music.

Brahmbhatt's first major break came in 1992, when he recorded a song called "Patel Rap" for the Indian-American film "My Cousin Vinny." The song was a hit, and it helped to launch Brahmbhatt's career as a playback singer.
