Dr. Nikhil Shah

Nikhil studied Mathematics at the University of Cambridge and received his PhD at Imperial College London, where he developed unique algorithmic improvements in the theory of seismic imaging using waveform inversion.

He was in charge of leading technological pilots of novel seismic imaging algorithms applied to field datasets in deepwater basins offshore Brazil and Nigeria while working with Chevron, first in San Ramon, California, and later in Houston, Texas.
